According to the World Happiness Index 2016, Hong Kong ranks 75 out of 157 places, dropping heavily from 46th place in 2012, and in the Happy Planet Index, 123rd out of 140 regions. Find out what plans the social enterprise, Mind Reset Institute, have to reduce stress levels and advocate for green mindfulness education.
In a fast-paced environment much like Hong Kong, to ensure sanity it’s much warranted that you reprieve yourself from the hustle, in whichever form possible. Social enterprise Mind Reset Institute founded by Green Monday’s co-founder, David Yeung, acknowledges that they’re “making mental health a global development priority” and it’s “time for us to reset our mind by being the positive energy.” Thus, Mind Reset Institute was created as a platform to advocate for green mind education and mindfulness-based leadership training for positive social change.
For the first time ever, the social enterprise brings to Hong Kong the Search Inside Yourself (SIY) leadership programme in October. In the two-day event, SIY will train corporate executives and professionals to be leaders with more self-awareness, motivation, and empathy to caring about the wellbeing of individuals, their organisations and communities. The training programme recognises the importance of emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and empathy as key factors of natural corporate success. Clients that have participated across the globe include Google, SAP, LinkedIn, and Ford.
Come 27-28 October 2016, the event will take place in Central and will bring in SIYLI’s CEO and Instructor, as well as a panel discussion of local advocates. Get your early-bird tickets now before 25 September for an eye opening experience.
